Agartala, Dec 10 (FD) Nearly two months ahead of the upcoming 2023 Tripura Assembly elections, the state unit of the Bharatiya Janata Pa
rty (BJP) on Saturday announced its election campaign and election management committee.
Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha has been appointed as Chairman of the 11-member election campaign committee.
The other members of the committee included, Deputy chief minister Jishnu Dev Varma, BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee, former Chief Minister and MP Biplab Kumar Deb, Minister of State in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Pratima Bhowmik, Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath, MP Rebati Mohan Tripura, Minister Bhagawan Das, Chief Whip of Tripura legislative assembly Kalyani Roy, Agriculture Minister Pranajit Singha Roy and minister Ram Prasad Paul.
While state BJP president Rajib Bhattacharjee has been appointed as the Chairman of the Election Management Committee for the party and Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath has been given the charge of Convenor.
Minister Ram Pada Jamatia, General Secretaries Tinku Roy, Papia Dutta, Kishore Burman, Amit Rakhshit and MLA Sudhanshu Das have been included in the Co-Conveners list.
Besides, several other leaders and members have been given the responsibility of important sectors including election office management, central leaders tour programme, legal department, social media team, booth management, new voters enrollment, Joining programs, add campaigning, and other important departments.
